Retiring in 2025

Some of our crew is retiring in 2025 and will be joining their new families.

All of our retired members are spayed/neutered, and have a comprehensive vet check including a full organ health panel and final dental cleaning.

We want to be sure they go to their new homes in optimum health.

See below for available retiring adults.

Rosco

Rosco is an American Cocker Spaniel.

He is the son of Stormie and Aspen, born September 24, 2023.

Rosco is a jolly boy, full of life and wiggles. He radiates joy from his big grin and quirky eyebrows to his perpetually wagging tail. He loves being with his humans and loves, loves his belly rubs and snuggles. Rosco gets along very well with other dogs.

Rosco is up to date on his vaccines and has been neutered.

Candyville's Will-O-The-Wisp aka Willow

Willow is a beautiful girl with a gentle, lovable nature. She is affectionate, easy going, and friendly. She enjoys walks, playing with her canine companions, and naps in the cool shade.

She would be a great fit for families with young children. She is a comical girl, her eager curiousity adds humour to our day.

Willow is an English Golden Retriever. She is up to date with her vaccinations, has her genetic health, and OFA Elbow/Hip testing completed. She is CKC and AKC registered.

Candyville's Heiress of Elegance aka Everly

Everly is an American Cocker Spaniel.

She is the daughter of Destiny & Dusty, granddaughter of Dixie. She was born on February 3, 2021.

Everly is up to date on her vaccinations, has her genetic health, OFA Elbow, and PennHip testing completed. She has also been spayed.

Everly is a little princess, delicate and refined. She has soulful eyes that melt the heart. She loves snuggles and cuddles. She loves loves hanging out in the office, chewing on her bully stick, or napping at my feet.

Everly loves people, and would do very well in a single dog home. She can be a bit dominant with other dogs, so we'd want to be sure it's a good match if there is a second dog in the home.

She loves children, and is very gentle with them.

Maple

Candyville's Rustic Maple

Although it’s only been 3 months since we brought “Miss Maple” home, it’s hard to imagine our lives without her. Maple is adjusting to her retirement life just wonderfully. She kicked off her retirement by relaxing in her crate while she observed her surroundings and took it all in. Then she slowly graduated to stealing shoes in the middle of the night until she had about 5 pair in her possession, a girl after my own heart, a lover of shoes. Maple loves to be loved. She welcomes all kinds of affection and kisses without hesitation and has just started giving kisses back. She is still a very timid girl especially with people, but boy she has come a long way in a short period of time. Her favourite pass times are long walks on the trail, playing fetch, chewing bully sticks and snuggles. She has just started jumping on our bed to make sure she gets her goodnight snuggles in before a fabulous night’s sleep underneath our bedside tables. She is a very patient girl to our 2 year old Goldador, Porter, who just wants attention and to rough house.. Maple wants no part of that sort of play and gives Porter that motherly stern look and he backs down. Don’t get me wrong, they do love each other, she covers him with licks just like a mama would do to her puppy. They compliment each other very well and enjoy each other’s company. Maple gives us so much joy, she has such a gentle and beautiful soul. She is always so excited to see us and makes sure we know it by greeting us at the door with one shoe in her mouth and fiercely wagging her tail like there’s no tomorrow. We are so excited to go on many adventures with her this summer and to give her the best life ever!! Thank you Candyville Pups for choosing us to be Maple’s forever family. The Waltons

Pearl
Candyville's Pearl of Great Price

When we adopted Pearl from Candyville Pups back in April 2022 we had no idea we were being given such a gift. She has filled a void in our family that we were truly missing and we are grateful to call her ours. Over the past couple of years she has blossomed into a beautiful family dog with her curious, goofy, and loving personality. She loves chasing squirrels in the backyard, going for walks and car rides. She lets out a huff when she is trying to get our attention or telling us she is displeased lol. During more calm times, she is affectionate and cuddly and a lovely playmate for our daughter. She also loves seeing new people who will give her head scratches and belly rubs. She regularly goes to work with her dad to visit and lift the spirits to all that she interacts with. Everyone that meets her falls in love with her personality. We are forever thankful to Candyville Pups for choosing us as Pearl’s forever home. The Cooper Family

Gyp

Candyville's Gypsies on a

Mountain Trail

Gyp has been an amazing addition to our home. Everyone who meets him comments what a beautiful soul he is. He definitely knows when someone needs that little extra cuddle & he will go sit beside them, lay his head in their lap & snuggle. He loves to adventure with us, stroll a quiet beach, walk and roll through the leaves or snow. He fit right into our home from the moment he arrived. His favorite places are any surface he can snuggle up, lay his head in your lap, get a belly rub & endless attention or on the porch lazing in the sun watching the world go by or following us in the garden to see what veggies he can pick. Baskets of toys, a bouncing ball or a challenge game are all fun – but if mom leaves a room, he has to follow. He does not like to be left alone – is a master escape artist & is especially attached to his mom – where she goes he is always only a step behind. Our family all love him & we are so thankful to have the opportunity to share his retirement years. ~Brenda Tupling

CoCo
Candyville's Destined to be a Winner

Coco (formerly Destiny) has settled into family life and she has a special bond with each one of us… including our newest addition, Ember. The girls are always willing to join us on our adventures or curl up for a snuggle. Coco is full of life and has a very loving personality. She greets all of us with kisses in the morning and is happiest when we are all together. She isn’t a huge fan of the cold, so I always bring extra blankets on our winter outings to keep her warm. We adore her and look forward to making many more memories with her ❤️ Nathan & Sarah Morin

Nala

Candyville's Glow of an Evening Campfire

Abby, now Nala It has been almost a year since Abby moved to her forever home in Florida. She has truly brought so much joy to all of our lives. She is the most loyal girl and loves to tag along wherever her mom goes. She enjoys cuddling, playing with her son (Tucker), going on walks, making friends, and sun bathing. She has so many people who love her! She looks forward to seeing all of her extended family who help watch her when her mom has class and work. She gets to see her son, Tucker, almost every week and they love to rough house! This year she got to experience the fun of going to the beach, the holidays, and playing fetch! I feel so blessed every day that I have her, she is truly the perfect companion. Addison Wood

Rainger
Candyville's It's been Rainin' in Virginia

Rainger is the best thing that could’ve happened to our family! He is mine as well as our families first dog and we are so grateful for him, we love him so much 🫶🏻He is the goofiest, most loving and cuddly dog you could possibly ask for. The Candyville Pups team have also been extremely helpful with giving us all the information we need for our first dog. Everyday he loves playing with other dogs in the park, rolling around in the snow and eating some of it haha, he loves to go on hikes and does well off leash as well. Rainger’s a true velcro dog and will follow you around everywhere no matter what. Teaching him recall was by far the easiest thing to train since he loves getting the cuddles once he comes back. He loves everyone and always gets so happy when we have guests over or when someone comes back home. Rainger's now got people asking for videos and pictures of him all the time and is quite popular in our neighbourhood. We always get comments about how soft and beautiful he is and I always respond "Don't worry I tell him that everyday!" He does have his flaws and is quite the stubborn boy and had some episodes of eating food and a t-shirt that he wasn't supposed to 🤭 but we love him very much anyways. - Hannah Lo

Nugget
Candyville's Little Gold Nugget

We just ADORE Nugget - she is our little Pupcake :-) She is the sweetest little darling ever…with just a little sassiness, as you described lol We can put her with ANY dog and she is always the same - accepting and sweet. Our clients always love her too - we have people that will hang around after class and ask if we can bring Nugget in for a visit…and when it’s Puppy K group class night, Nugget is waiting at the door to come in. She is the perfect little Momma-referee, and interacts with the puppies so beautifully! However she is most happy enjoying the kibble leftovers, as well as all of the attention from the puppy owners lol. She keeps us laughing everyday with her little self, and we just love love love her! Every day I get “smiles” from Nugget as her “Good Morning” greeting. THANK YOU so very much for allowing us to welcome Nugget into our family. Pam & Serge / Trainers

Dusty
Candyville's Finding Gold Dust in Ohio

It's been less than a year since we brought Dusty home, and it's hard to imagine life without him. He blended into our family almost instantly, becoming a companion not only to our other dog, Carmen (Candyville Cocker Retriever), but especially to me. Their companionship is heartwarming. Dusty is incredibly affectionate, always seeking cuddles and hugs, and he's become my shadow, following me wherever I go. He's a true velcro dog, offering comfort and companionship whenever needed. Initially, there were concerns about marking (marking is part of a stud dog’s business 🐶), but thanks to Katherine's advice and some diapers, we resolved the issue within a few weeks. Dusty and Carmen are simply perfect dogs, often earning compliments for their calm and well-behaved demeanor. We're immensely grateful to Candyville Pups for completing our family. The only challenge? Dusty's insistence on close contact when sleeping – no matter the space available, he always wants to be touching us. But hey, we wouldn't have it any other way! 🐾 Karishma Punwani

Crystal
Candyville's Little Snow Angel

It’s been just over 3 months since we took Crystal home. She has really settled into her new life very well as you can see from some of these photos! She looks forward to her walks every day and LOVES to sniff her way around! Crystal is a fast learner. She has learned the word “wait” when we come to an intersection and won’t cross until we say”OK”. Crystal is a very affectionate dog with a beautiful disposition who loves to be by our side all day. The feeling is mutual. We feel so fortunate that we found Crystal and we’re able give her, her forever home. 🥰🐾 Cheers, Kim & Brad

Daisy & Trixie
Candyville's Sunkissed Daisies
Candyville's Doing Tricks for Treats

Daisy is our little ‘wiggle bum’! Her tail goes a mile a minute! She bonded with Cherry from day one. When Cherry is away from the house, Daisy is constantly running to the front window looking for her. And when Cherry drives in the driveway, Daisy gets so excited – running around, and barking and crying! It’s really quite something. Mom and I do not get quite that greeting when we come home. Daisy loves Christmas and Birthdays – she has a ball playing with the wrapping paper! Trixie is our ‘counter surfer’! She loves checking out what yummy morsels have been left out. We’ve had some close calls with a loaf of bread going outside as well as a BBQ Chicken! Trixie also really likes her stuffed toys and we call them her ‘babies’. Every day she takes them out of the basket in the living room and marches them outside. Our neighbour was wondering what all the stuffed animals were doing all over the yard! They love their walks in the park and on the trail by the river, and running around the backyard. They also love getting cozy on their beds, our beds and the couch! We are so happy to have them with us and they are very happy in their retirement. There is never a dull moment now! Wendy, Cherry, and Mary Ann Muir
