I would like to thank Katharine at Candyville Pups for giving us our beautiful pup Marley. We have never owned an English Cream Retriever and Katharine was most patient answering all my questions about the breed and the DNA health of his parents. Marley has been such a loving dog. He is calm, sweet natured, affectionate, and always wants to meet new dogs and people on his walks. For 30 years I have always owned German Shepherds, and after loosing our last Shepherd to a genetic disease, I was ready for a change. Katharine gave us a pup that had a calm, sweet demeanor, and I must admit he has been the easiest puppy I have ever owned. Marley loves playing with his best friend Oliver the Pug and will let him be the alpha when they wrestle around the house. He always has to carry around a toy in his mouth, especially when he has big feelings. I can’t thank Candyville enough for giving us our sweet Marley. He has brought so much joy to our home and people fall in love with him when they come for visits.

I got Theo when i was 10, i was a quiet kid with no friends, until i had Theo and i built enough confidence to be able to make friends, Theo is now a service dog for my anxiety, ptsd and heart function. I am so glad i have my Theo, we got him at 8 weeks old and he came to us perfect, he was calm, never teethed on us surprisingly, he was adventurous and not afraid, he wasn’t nervy, he came to us very well socialized. Theo is amazingly health and has yet to have any health problems aside from when he ate some batteries by accident ?. Other than that he’s an amazing dog, he is my saviour, and i thank him every day when he saves my life. Thank you.

Alfred is such a sweet, active and loving pup. With him being my first dog, I was looking for a dog with a great temperament and great trainability. That is exactly what I got! The Candyville pups team has been so supportive and helpful throughout the adoption process and even to this day. The facilities are great and the whole team is very invested in the dogs and their success in their respective families. Even if we live far away from them, we still feel a part of the Candyville family.

Alfred is full of personality and is great at communicating what he feels and what he wants. He has truly changed my life for the better and I am thankful for him every day. He is a great companion for outdoor activities at the cottage as well as cuddling up on the sofa in the city. He loves to play with his dog friend at the parc and to take a swim in the lake nearby to clean up afterward. His favourite thing in the world is to get dirty and play in the tub with his friends. We even joke that his dream is to one day change colour! With him being so white and so messy at the same time, we sure do get a lot of laughs and smiles.

When I get another dog, it will definitely be from Candyville!

It was one year ago today that we were picking up our 10 week old little fluff puff! We thought the day would never arrive!

If you are searching for a dedicated responsible breeder we highly recommend “Candyville Pups”.

The nursery is extremely clean, sanitized, sectioned in stages of the puppies growth and well organized. I was beyond impressed with the facility, and commitment with this breeder. They go above and beyond, researching and applying new programs to stimulate the puppies and prep their pups with the best foundation possible in their first 10 weeks of life, making the transition to their new home easier and the best head start for their future.

They even had the pups used to sleeping alone in their crate and introduced them to ringing the bell to go out. We never had any issues settling our pup “Kindle” even on the 1st night home. Kindle continued to adjust easily to new sights, sounds, people and her surroundings (including her first thunderstorm, firecrackers and 1st time we had to walk her up/down open grate stairs – all no problem!).

Kindle just turned a year old and is such a smart, well behaved, beautiful dog with a matching personality! We are constantly getting compliments and asked where we got her from. We are more than happy to provide Katharine’s information.

Kindle is a huge part of our family & camping adventures. We couldn’t be happier with Candyville Pups and our experience with Katherine and her team !!!

Oslo is such a kind loving friend. He loves people, kids and if there is a dog that doesn’t like him he will persist until they are friends…no giving up. Cats…yup no problem. He loves digging, running, hugs and most of all belly rubs. He is such a part of our family, extended family and friends because he always brings a smile. Can’t imagine not having him …unless maybe there were two. Honestly, I believe he genetically came from love and most certainly from Candyvillepups.
